KEY NUMBERS FOR THE CLASSES FROM 2011 TO 2022
APPRENTICESHIP
Apprenticeship can be carried out within the framework of an apprenticeship contract, which is part of the initial training option, or a professionalisation contract, which is part of the continuing education option. For more details on these two types of options, please refer to the Enrolment page.
Since 2011, 88 students have opted for apprenticeship, which is increasingly valued.
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AURA) region is the privileged region for the apprenticeship students with a marked concentration in Lyon and its suburbs. It is followed by the Paris region.
Pharmaceutical industry is unquestinably the business sector where most apprenticeship students work, even though public institutions and CROs have been increasingly offering this type of contract during the past years.
INTERNSHIP
The main advantage of an internship is the possibility to carry it out abroad, which is not possible with an apprenticeship contract. Even if most of the internships are located in France, several students work abroad each year.
Public institutions and CROs offer more internship contracts than apprenticeship contracts.
